Preeti Vishwakarma

Preeti Vishwakarma is an infectious disease animal model expert and has more than 10 years of research experience working on rodents as an animal model. Preeti has obtained a PhD from CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India, while working on Visceral Leishmaniasis. She has doctoral and post-doctoral experience working with pathogens such as influenza, SARS-CoV-2, dengue, JEV and mpox, and Leishmania. She is currently working on the INDIGO project and is actively involved in performing immunogenicity and challenge studies of novel protein-based vaccine candidates for Influenza, SARS-COV-2, and Monkeypox at Translational Health Science and Technology Institute, Faridabad, India.
